Married Gary Kurpius 1972-2000, 2005-current, had 3 children, and taught high school in Babbitt, MN 1970-1985. Moved to Alaska 1985. Taught at Wendler Middle School, West High School, and Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage between 1990-2005, retiring in June, 2005. Currently residing in Babbitt, MN mid-May - mid-Oct, and in Wasilla, AK from mid-Oct - mid-May.

We recently left Alaska and moved back to MN. We currently reside in Babbitt (close to Ely) and love being back here!
