Obituary of Harold Hanson

Harold “Harry” Hanson, 73, of Duluth, MN passed away on June 30th, 2021 at Essentia- Miller Dawn. Harry was born on January 30, 1948 in Duluth, MN to Harvey and Ruth Hanson. He graduated from Denfeld High.

Harry enjoyed woodworking. He served in the Navy and was a member of the American Legion. He was also a member of the Fond Du Lac Community Club & Twin Ports Genealogy. He also volunteered for Ruby’s Pantry. 

Harry was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Hanson and his parents, Harvey and Ruth Hanson.

He is survived by his sister Virginia Olson; brother James (Shirlee) Hanson; son, Ben Hanson; nieces and nephews. 

He will be interred at the Veterans Cemetery in Pike Lake. Per Harry’s request, there will be no service.

I remember him from Bryant that he was always so very nice.  Thoughts and prayers to his

family.  I feel so badly about his passing.

I talked to him at the class 50th reunion he was the same as in school quite and unassuming and a friendly person RIP mate.
