Dave and I met sometime around the 7th grade. We both lived in the westend of Duluth. As everyone new Dizzy loved to laugh. Well one time the two of us and his sister Cookie were going to do some homework at the Lincoln branch library. Dave and I we're sitting at one of the tables quietly doing our homework, when this older lady walked by and passed some gas, loudly! (She farted) I looked at Dave and said "oops!" out loud. We started laughing, and tried to stay quiet but it didn't happen. Every time we looked at each other we'd laugh a little louder. We couldn't stop, we were asked to leave. When we got out on the steps of the library we were laughing so hard we were crying, almost fell down the darn steps we were laughing so hard. I'm writing this on Memorial Day, thinking of all our classmates who gave it all for our freedom.
