Mark Pearson

Mark Pearson

Mark Alan Pearson died peacefully on Thursday September 16th in hospice. He was born April 3, 1948 to Mae and Ed Pearson. He graduated from Denfeld High School in 1966, joining the Navy where he was a radar man and serving time in Vietnam. Mark loved the outdoors, boating and fishing. In retirement he traveled to the Texas coast in his motor home for the winter then back to Duluth for the summer. His love of woodworking and carving was something that he did for enjoyment throughout his life: most recent projects included making signs for RVs, caricatures, and walking sticks. Many friends have his special works. Finally, he was a very resourceful man, always willing to lend a hand to a person in need and the ability to build just about anything or repair broken things. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ford. He is survived by his children Nick and twin daughters Kristy and Misty: 5 Grandchildren, 1 niece and 4 nephews, brother Wayne and life long friend Glenn Snyder.

Memorial service at the Minnesota State Veterans cemetery-Duluth, 3:00 PM, Friday October 8th.
