In loving memory of my very best friend Mary Hyvonen.  Her untimely loss broke my heart and so many others too.  Not a better friend could you have.  Loving, supportive, kind, generous, thoughtful, funny.....always there with her warm smile and a kind word.  Her loving support after I lost my dear, sweet husband Larry in 2011 was part of what held me up at that very sad time.  This reunion will be the first one that we are not together, excited to go to meet up with classmates, laugh, have fun, remember and be silly.  Our journey thru life and friendship was one that is only shared with a few in your lifetime.  I will always carry her in my heart.  Missing you my dear and sweet friend Mary, we will have a toast to you and Larry for sure and I know you both will be part of it from heaven!  I know that....Love forever..Marlene.heart

Marlene,

Your memorial to Mary is so beautiful and so true of the wonderful person she was.  She left her place on this earth too soon and I know you miss her friendship so much.  She will always have a warm place in your heart and of course, also her family whom she loved and was so devoted to.   I'll never forget the bald eagle that flew overhead at the cemetery as the life celebration for her came to a close......the eagle symbolizing Mary's rise into heaven as he led her to her knew home in the sky.  We will certainly have a toast to Mary and also your dear Larry at the reunion.
