I'm glad I had the opportunity to spend time with Mike when I was in AZ.  I didn't know him well in high school however I was impressed with what I learned about his later years.  I didn't know that Mike played the drums in a band; that he had a career in the Air Force; or that he celebrated Frestivus (a Frank Costanza holiday).  He was a likable guy who appreciated the meaningful things in life.   RIP Mike.
